From your answers you have indicated that you often forget mealtimes, or that you have already eaten.
At some point in our lives many of us, due to illness, disability or old age, will need some form of help with everyday things like getting washed, dressing or cooking a meal. This support is often called social care.
Asking for help is sometimes the hardest thing to do, but Fife Council operates a meals on wheels service that would ensure meals are provided to you one to four times a week.
Menus are varied and can accommodate special dietary requirements. To find out more about the service, please visit www.fifedirect.org.uk/topics/index or phone the Social Work Contact Centre on 01383 441177.
Fife forum also offers access to forum groups who meet on a monthly basis to campaign for better rights, services and facilities for local older people. For more information, please visit www.fifeforum.org.uk/.
